| Entry # 120 | Date Posted: September 15, 2008 | A fully functional, Warranted Temple of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (with initiatory lineage from Israel Regardie via renowned authors Chic and Sandra Tabatha Cicero) is now operational on Long Island! If you have an interest in the Western Esoteric Tradition, Magick, are a serious seeker and wish to become a student of Alchemy, Kabbalah, Astrology, and Enochian Magick, then contact us for an interview and application. Long Distance members are accepted so long as you are able to travel to a Temple meeting from time to time for initiations and advancements. There is no charge ever for initiation. Nominal dues is collected however to offset the cost of printing curricula, candles, incense and for the rent of our Temple space (typically $10/month). To our knowledge this is the first time that a Temple has ever existed on Long Island for this Order (the last one in this area was in NYC which went dark at the beginning of the 20th Century).
We welcome all comers from all backgrounds, especially our Wiccan Brothers and Sisters! Magick is Magick after all! We look forward to hearing from you! Quit the Night and Seek the Day!
